Flensburger is the world’s biggest user of flip top bottles, hence their advertising strap line being ‘Plop!’. Flensberger Gold is a fantastic example of the Dortmunder Export style. This style is known for its refreshing simplicity where the malts are prominent yet is still finishes very clean. Rich aromas of malts, barley, grain and hints of biscuity notes. Crisp and refreshing lager.
Brewed with fine Bavarian hops from the area around the city of Nürnberg. It’s lagered in century old caves underneath the historic Schlenkerla brewery and maltings. Its boiled in the same old copper kettles they use for their smoked beer, so has a very subtle smokiness to it. Classic Bavarian lager.

Its fresh citrusy note is derived from precious Cascade hop and the fruity Schneider yeast – a real treat, unrivaled in freshness and drinkability.
