Baron de Sigognac VSOP
Strong plummy notes on the nose, light vanilla on the palate, with dried fruits and crystallised fruits. This was aged for 6 months in new oak before 7 years in old oak, meaning that technically it could qualify as an XO under the current rules. Baron de Sigognac owns its vineyards, its distillery, its ageing cellars and is bottling all its production, a rarity in brandy production.
Baron de Sigognac 10 ans
The family run and owned Baron de Sigognac ages this Armagnac for minimum of 10 years in barrel. This has leant the eau de vie delicate notes of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and a little candied orange. In the mouth it shows a little earthy vanilla, toffee dried fruit a hint of florality, leading to a delicately almond and vanilla laden finish that persists on the palate.
Clos Martin XO Armagnac
A long‑aged blend built on traditional Gascon character. Distilled from Baco and Ugni Blanc and matured for around 15 years, it shows warm dried fruit, soft oak, and gentle spice, with the deeper, mellow richness that extended ageing brings. Smooth, balanced, and quietly complex, it’s a classic expression of mature Armagnac.
Lionel Osmin Apothicaire Armagnac 1988
A single‑vintage Armagnac drawn from Baco, the region’s most traditional grape. Distilled in 1988 and matured for 35 years in Gascon oak, before being bottled in 2023. It shows deep, mellow fruit, warm spice, and the quiet richness that long ageing brings. A focused, characterful Armagnac from Lionel Osmin’s Apothicaire series, bottled with an emphasis on purity and vintage expression.
