WALT LØ Alcohol Riesling
Walter S. Siegel established himself as a vineyard owner in 1897. It wasn’t until 1937 that the Siegel wines were known in the UK, when his son Hans formed an unusual alliance with English cricketer Ian Peebles. Hans honoured his father by naming this wine after him. And, so, the Walt Riesling was born.
At last a really good alcohol free wine! This is Riesling with all its variety-specific fruitiness, like peaches, mineral notes and a fresh, lively character. Try it with fish, seafood or white meat or even with red meats and game! Of course, it’s also very drinkable by itself!

One of the most popular grape varieties in Germany, this riesling has fine fruit flavours of peach, apricot and other stone fruits with typical aromatics of the variety. Great to drink by itself or try with some hearty traditional meals from the Pfalz area such as Sauerkraut and German sausage dishes.
Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé
The Pfalz is a very warm and sunny region, often called “the Tuscany of Germany,” so Pinot varieties do well here. The Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé is light and refreshing, with deliciously bright berry and fruit flavors and a clean, zippy finish.

Pinot Noir has a long history in the Pfalz region, where it is known as Spätburgunder. This is full of bright black cherry flavours with a little hint of spice and firm acidity. Ripe fruit is complemented with a smoky depth and earthy tannins from twelve months oak ageing. An excellent wine that’s great for everday dining – one that everyone likes!

Weingut Hanewald-Schwerdt Chardonnay
The family owned and operated estate Hanewald-Schwerdt was founded in 1955 in Leistadt. Today cousins, Thomas Hanewald & Stephan Schwerdt look after the family buisness which was established by their grandfather. The secret of their handcrafted wines is a unique limestone reef which dominates all the sites arround Leistadt. The vines are old and surrounded by a protected natural resort in the shade of the Haardt mountains.
A fruity, elegant Chardonnay with citrus aromas and hints of melon and vanilla spice. Juicy with good structure and subtle acidity that makes it very refreshing and a great accompaniment to seafood dishes, especially brook trout Müllerin.

This blend of Scheurebe, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling is exceptionally refreshing, with brilliant minerality and moderate acidity. Complex and juicy flavours of elderberry and apple with a lingering finish. Beautiful when paired with fresh salads or a diverse range of Asian-inspired dishes.
Dr. Loosen Red Slate Riesling
Dr Loosen is a family owned winery with over 200 years of history. Under the leadership of Ernst Loosen, the wines have become the international poster child for German Riesling. The estate combine historical Grand Cru sites with the heritage of thier ancestors to produce complex wines of world class that express the great qualities from the soil, climate and the grape varieties grown in the region.
The grapes for this wine are grown on red slate soils which is completely unique to Mosel. This type of soil produces a softer, rounder structure with a distinctive minerality and aromas of red fruits. Flavours of apples and hints of citrus, with some honeyed spice on the finish.
The dry style of the wine is ideal for classic continental cuisine.
Hanewald Schwerdt Monkey Morio Muskat
Cousins Thomas Hanewald and Stephen Schwerdt took over the business founded by their grandfather, they focus on Riesling and Pinot Noir, but also produce this rare variety, Morio Muskat. It is absolutely fabulous, with a perfumed, grapey nose with elderflower, apple and hints of pineapple.
The name comes from the discovery of a cuddly monkey found lost in the vineyard. It was tied to the end of the row of vines in case someone should return for it, but there it stayed.

An intense, ultra-concentrated dessert wine made from hand-selected grapes that have been shrivelled about halfway to raisins by botrytis (the “Noble Rot”). Early arriving botrytis in this year – 2017 – means this is a bright, refreshing style of dessert wine with green apple, white peach and lemon flavours. It’s rich and intense with superb racy acidity. This will age for another couple of years, best drunk from now until 2025.
Dr Loosen Bernkasteler Lay Riesling Kabinett
A delicately crisp, low-alcohol Riesling from the top-rated single-vineyard site that surrounds the Dr. Loosen estate.
Bernkasteler Lay is a Grosse Lage (grand cru) vineyard situated directly along the Mosel between the village of Bernkastel and the Dr. Loosen estate house. The rocky blue slate soil here produces richly textured, assertive wines. Kabinett is the German designation for the lightest, most delicate style of Riesling, produced from barely ripe grapes picked early in the harvest.

The Donnhof Riesling QbA has a lime-fresh fruit nose and an excellent, rich honeyed flavour and is perfect for current drinking.
Rudolf Fürst Riesling Pur Mineral
Fermented dry, these wines display elegance and pure minerality. Thus: pur mineral.
Dr Loosen Extra Dry Riesling Sekt
A fresh and delightfully fruity Sekt from far western Germany. The Mosel valley’s steep, southfacing slopes create the perfect climate for Riesling, giving the vines ideal exposure to the sun, whilst the cool climate allows the grapes to ripen slowly and retain their natural acidity.
We are huge fans of this wine. Sparkling wine, called “Sekt” in German, has a long history in Germany. A fact that you can see in the many German family names among famous Champagne houses (think Bollinger, Krug and Mumm, for example). Drink something different!
Gunderloch A Piece of Me – Als Wars ein stuck von mir Riesling
Fantastic balance, lovely mineral character and spice that will develop as it ages but drinking beautifully now.
Josten & Klein Schiefer Pinot Noir
Josten & Klein is a new winery that offers high-quality white and red wines from the two Rhineland-Palatinate wine-growing regions of Ahr and Mittelrhein.
With around 560 hectares, the Ahr is one of the smallest wine-growing regions in Germany. But that doesn’t detract from its class. As the largest closed red wine growing area in Germany and at the same time as the northernmost area for red vines, it has developed into a wine region of great renown over the past two decades. This is a classic style of Pinot Noir. Ripe flavours of sweet and sour cherry and bramble fruit. Soft tannins and acidity keeps the finish fresh and long.
Dönnhoff Höllenpfad Riesling Trocken
Wow! Dry and elegant wine with a very piquant mineral fruitiness and an excellent ageing potential.
Haart Ohligsberg GG Riesling Goldtropfchen
Aromatic and fresh nose of white and yellow fruits, especially pineapple and lemons. The palate is a classic Middle-Mosel Riesling, rich, yet delicate and light.
Weingut Corvers-Kauter Riesling Auslese
The Corvers and Kauter families between them have five hundred years of winegrowing history in the Rheingau, one of the world’s most iconic wine regions. Now led by Dr Matthias and Brigitte Corvers, whose family comes from Rudesheim, their 12 hectares of gravity-defying organic vineyards are planted around the villages of Oestrich and Winkel in the traditional manner on the steep banks of the Rhine.
An incredible, rich, complex Riesling with a fascinating fullness of aromas. Fruit acid and minerality combine to create a fireworks display for the palate.
Rudolf Fürst Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewachs
A pure and silky wine which could comfortably sit alongside some of the greats from Burgundy. Powerful, yet elegant.
