A lovely fresh, youthful Rioja with ripe cherry, berry fruit flavours and hints of spice, the palate is medium bodied, soft, rounded and approachable. Great with bolognaise sauces.
Te Quiero Field Blend Red
Much of Spain’s vineyards are devoted to the commercial grape varieties that we all know and love such as Tempranillo and Syrah, but there are also small plots of older, native varieties such as Graciano, Monastrell, Tinto Velasco that farmers have preserved out of a sense of pride or interest in their history. Today we recognise more and more the value of this diversity and the wealth of flavours of some of these older varieties when they come together in a blend.
Rich, ripe, spiced and brambly fruit, pure and mouthfilling with round tannins, and a lively finish. The small amount of these grapes that remain means it is not possible to vinify them separately so the grapes tend to be harvested together as a Field Blend.
Te Quiero Field Blend White
A mix of small plots of a multitude of exotic old fashioned grapes resulting in a flavoursome, rich yet vibrant wine from the heart of Spain. Best with seafoods or salads.
The small amount of these grapes that remain means it is not possible to vinify them separately so the grapes tend to be harvested together as a Field Blend.

He acquired new plots of land year after year, before deciding to build his own winery in 2003.
El Otro Tinto
A great value red, this excellent all-rounder is essentially an old-vine Garnacha with a generous splodge of Syrah in the blend, about 15%. It’s remarkably bold in weight and structure given the humble price tag, and absolutely oozes clean, fresh, dark berry fruits from nose to finish.

Celler del Roure Cullerot
Tucked behind the Serra Grossa, at the top of the Alrorins-Alcusses valley, is the rural idyl of Celler del Roure, an estate developed by Pablo Calatuyud and his father to shine a light on a more ancient and authentic style of Valencian wine and away from the bulk production the area was becoming more recognized for. His intention to rehabilitate long-forgotten grapes such as Mando, Arcos and Verdil was solidified with the discovery of a 500-year-old cellar on the mountainside property, with subterranean clay amphoras ‘tinajas’ in near perfect condition.
Aged in Tinijas shows the fresh and complex flavours of this wine. Ripe tangerines from the Verdil, sweet spice from the PX, balanced with fresh and mouth watering citrus, melon and a touch of biscuit from the Chardonnay and Macabeo. Finishing with a rich and creamy mouth feel that makes this wine a true show case of its style.
Daniel Ramos Vina Padre
A blend of grapes, mainly based on Rufete from Salamanca and Garnacha from Gredos, all small, high altitude, mountainous vineyards (up to 1000m!). Even including some white. As always with Daniel, this is a ‘hand-made’ wine, with no fining or filtration. Simply made in concrete vats and a portion in seasoned, oak.
The resultant wine is fleshy and juicy, with good tannic grip and texture. The flavours are pure and honest, with a real sense of wild, mountainous viticulture. Great freshness through a long finish.

The oak component is subtle and well integrated. Perfect with any meats and cheeses.
