Bodegas Altolandon Mil Historias Bobal
The winery sits 1100 metres above sea level, inland of Valencia. A rich and fruity style of wine with big red berry flavours, subtle spice, mouth watering acidity, smooth tannins and a long lasting finish. There are lots of dragonflies around the vineyard, hence the label!
Bodegas Gratias Tardana
Sustainable agriculture from old vineyards with a high chalk content. The Tardana fruit comes from un-irrigated bush vines at 400 m altitude. This native grape variety its so adapted to the terroir that it ripens very late, in October, after the reds. Scrummy white fruits, flowers, ripe pears. Creamy and well balanced acidity.

After several years of applying biodynamic practices, their soil has been restored, reaching a degree of purity similar to wild soil.

They don’t use pesticides or herbicides and have been certified Organic since 2015. In addition the winery is fully powered by solar energy. and all wines are vegan friendly and low sulphur.

Dry, light, naturally and biodynamically made Prosecco. Really cloudy, yeasty, buttery, such a pleasure to drink and only 10.5%. We love this wine!

Soalheiro Terramatter Vinho Verde
Another gem from the superb Soalheiro winery. Terramatter is a different kind of wine from their range, it is unfiltered and grown in a way that supports biodiversity.
A unique microclimate influences the growth of these Alvarinho grapes. The Melgaço region, at the northernmost point of Portugal, is protected by a range of mountains which create the perfect rainfall, temperature and sunshine conditions needed for the ideal ripening of the Alvarinho grapes. As it is an unfiltered wine, it is cloudy but can be cleared if decanted. The wine has a rustic and complex flavour while still being vibrant and fresh. The finish is slightly vegetal, yet silky and smooth. By gently stirring the bottle before serving, incorporating the fine lees, the wine can have even more volume in the mouth.
