An old, traditional recipe that produces the original amber colour and allows for it to reach a real elegance.
Floral and vanilla spice aromas but soft on the palate. Full-bodied and spicy on the finish.
St Petroni Red Vermouth 1 Litre
From an artisan, small batch producer of exquisite, craft vermouths. Based in Galicia and using Albarino wines as the base for their vermouths. The distinctive bottles are inspired by Savlador Dalí and handmade from porcelain.
Dark red hue with highlights of copper, this vermut awakens in the mouth a perfect combination between sweetness, acidity and bitterness. The nose has sweet fruity notes along with pastry, which are mixed with light spices and balsamic. It has great length and complexity on the palate.
Berto Vermouth Rosso 1 Litre
With a shining dark amber colour, this Vermouth reveals the characteristic hints of wormwood, gracefully matched with balsamic aromas, wood and resin.
Bèrto is a range of premium quality vermouths, spirits and liqueurs by Antica Distilleria Quaglia. Established in the late 1800’s, the Quaglia family have a long history in the Piedmont region of Italy for producing artisan products, drawing from their family recipes and traditions, whilst maintaining contemporary and modernising where needed.
Alcohol is infused with a selection of herbs and spices, including; wormwood, juniper, rhubarb, myrrh, licorice, vanilla, mint, amung others, for a 60 day period. The botanicals are then pressed and sugar and Piemontese wine (80% Cortese DOC, 20% Barbera d’Asti DOCG) are added to make the Vermouth, followed by a light filtration and bottling.
St. Petroni Vermouth Branco 1 Litre
Amazing vermouth from Galicia. Crisp, bright and fruity Albarino wine is taken from Rias Baixas after a partial fermentation. The wine is then gently fortified with absinthe to a palatable 15% abv. It is then aged in barrels for 6 months with around 25 different botanicals, including rosemary, thyme, fennel and sage.
Deliciously expressive on the nose with notes of lemon peel and rosemary leads onto an extremely complex palate. The hints of sweetness are balanced by gentle bitterness creating a refreshing and moreish drink.
Perfect summer drinking.
