This pours deep red, with a very fruity nose, both powerful and elegant. It’s round and soft on the palate with great fruit intensity and notes of blackberries and small red fruits.
Chateau de Cedre is a family winery, established in 1958 and has played a crucial role in making accesible Malbec that doesn’t need cellaring for 10 plus years to show its delights. Though of course they still produce those great wines known in the Anglosphere as “The Black Cahors”. Now run by brothers Jean and Pascal, Terre Rouge is Pascal’s negotiant project – this wine is made from grapes purchased from likeminded, sustainable growers working their vines organically, eschewing herbicides and chemical fertilisers, and vinified in line with Pascal’s winemaking principles.

Lorca Lorca Malbec
A really good winemaker like Mauricio Lorca sometimes dots the I’s and crosses the T’s with a little touch of something else. In this case Mauricio has used a little Syrah – powerful, spicy, dark Syrah – to inject a little extra pizzazz into this already very attractive Malbec. The key to the wine’s huge appeal is, like many good things in life, its simplicity and honesty. Simple, juicy, fresh and delicious; what’s not to like?

Here, on this sunny part of Italy’s Adriatic coastline, Trebbiano ripens to produce wines with mature green fruit characteristics, dried herbal undertones, a silky, round mouthfeel and a bit of salty seawater on the finish.
Amoterra produces an organic Trebbiano Abruzzo that is as ripe as it is fresh. Golden hues of apple, pear, and ripe lemon play with dried basil and a mineral finish.
