Solevari Reserve Feteasca Neagra
Cramele Recas is a winery in Romania owned by Englishman Philip Cox and his Romanian wife, Elvira. The vineyards are a combination of historic vines from 1447 and more recent plantings and modern wine-making techniques. Feteasca Neagra is a dark-skinned grape indigenous to Romania and Moldova. When translated, it means black maiden and is the most widespread grapes in Romania.
A predominantly spicy nose with black fruits, similar to Pinot Noir but with rich flavours and grippy tannins. Acidity balances it out with a hint of coffee on the finish.
Kabbelend Cinsault
Natural red grown from organic, dry-farmed bushvines on a plot right on the border of Paarl and Swartland, mean the vines have to work extra hard giving a lovely concentration of flavour. Crunchy, fresh cranberry and red cherry with a delicate floral quality. Super juicy, spicy and not taking itself too seriously.

Casas Relvas is a family run winery in the Alentejo region of Portugal. The families passion for the region has extended to the rebuilding of the cork oak forests. This is such a consistently good wine and one of our favourites.

Cote du Danube Pinot Noir
Chateau Burgozone is a family boutique winery in Bulgaria started in 2000. Located on the banks of the Danube River, the winery get its name from the Roman fortress built on the Roman road Via Istrum. Planting both local and international varietes, their philosophy is that the quality of the wines is created in the vineyards.
This is a wonderfully soft Pinot Noir with red stone fruit aromas and notes of violets, chocolate and a bit of spicy vanilla. Intense palate of sweet and spicy fruits with very good length and and smoky vanilla finish.

On the nose, it has notes of cassis and black cherries. In the mouth, it has smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and good persistence. The nose has a touch of savoury leather and lightly roasted coffee note, but this is really all about the fruit.

Bodega Mauricio Lorca Recoleta Bonarda
Brand new in from Mauricio Lorca – a perfect example, showing that Argentina has much more to offer than Malbec. This 100% Bonarda from Vista Flores in Mendoza has an abundance of fresh red fruit character; cherry, raspberry, redcurrant and cranberry. Along with good structure, soft tannins and a long finish. Wonderfully delicious on its own, but pairs really well with lean meats, red meats and dishes with creamy sauces.

Zensa Nero Di Troia
Not nearly as well known as Primitivo and Negroamaro, Nero di Troia is often found in blends but this wine shows how good this grape can be on it’s own. The grapes are picked from low-yielding vineyards in Foggia, northern Puglia.
Aromas of fresh dark plum, cinnamon, exotic spices and tobacco. Firm yet gentle tannins add complexity and length.
Un Bon Canon Côtes du Rhône
This is a vibrant and fresh style of Côtes du Rhône without any ageing in oak. A Grenache dominated blend with red fruit and supple tannins.
Les Vignerons d’Estezargues Les Oliviers Cotes du Rhone
A big, chunky Rhone from a fantastic little cooperative in Estézargues near Avignon. Made with minimal intervention, unfined, unfiltered. Soft red fruits on the palate, hearty, but really approachable.
Gatito Loco Rioja Tinto
A bright fruit-bursting wine that emphasises vineyard over bodega, which discards the hackneyed image of Rioja, everything about this wine is intentionally provocative to challenge your view on what Rioja is. This wine stands out for its red and black fruits and liquorice aromas. Fresh and round with a multitude of nuances supporting the black fruit flavours.
The Opportunist Shiraz
Wild & Wilder were founded by Master of Wine duo Fergal Tynan and Giles Cooke, with Giles also being the winemaker. Both men have worked extensively around the world learning their craft including time in Europe, North and South America before settling in Southern Australia. The duo work with several growers across various regions to hand craft outstandingly good wines at their Adelade Hills winery that are seriously well made, bags of fun and extremely drinkable.
An aromatic bouquet of ripe fruits, cherries and blackcurrants, with notes of freshly ground coffee, dark chocolate, peppermint, liquorice and subtle pepper. The wine has also been matured for 8 months in oak for added texture and complexity. Aussie winemaking at it’s big, bold best.
Pair with barbequed foods (obviously!) cured meats and cheeses or pan fried prawns in garlic butter and fresh chilli.
Lorca Lorca Malbec
A really good winemaker like Mauricio Lorca sometimes dots the I’s and crosses the T’s with a little touch of something else. In this case Mauricio has used a little Syrah – powerful, spicy, dark Syrah – to inject a little extra pizzazz into this already very attractive Malbec. The key to the wine’s huge appeal is, like many good things in life, its simplicity and honesty. Simple, juicy, fresh and delicious; what’s not to like?

Bosbrand Carignan
Natural red with rich, floral and spicy notes of stewed plum and red cherry. It hails from two vineyards – the first is the oldest Carignan vineyard in South Africa (planted in 1979); the second a smaller vineyard planted in 2003.
Villa Wolf Pinot Noir
The Villa Wolf Estate has been making wine since the 1800’s with Ernst Loosen from the Dr Loosen winery in Mosel taking over in 1996. The winery is currently in the process of getting organic certification, 2022 will be the first certified vintage.
Pinot Noir has a long history in the Pfalz region, where it is known as Spätburgunder. This is full of bright black cherry flavours with a little hint of spice and firm acidity. Ripe fruit is complemented with a smoky depth and earthy tannins from twelve months oak ageing. An excellent wine that’s great for everday dining – one that everyone likes!

The Biscardo Family have been making wine from their base in Soave for over 150 years and are currently led by brothers Maurizio and Martino.
During the course of Maurizio’s long and illustrious career, he has consulted for well known wineries around Italy and in doing so he came across the vineyards for their Puglian wines. Both the Pugliese and Veneto wines are characterised by an almost dangerous drinkability, aromatic purity and exceptional value for money.
Baglio Gibellina U Passimiento
Baglio Gibellina is situated in picturesque Sicily where its vineyards are surrounded by the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. Old vineyards located between 300-600m above sea level are grown on a mixture of clay and volcanic soils with limited yields allowing for the production of outstanding wines with incredible food matching potential.
Caparzo Sangiovese Di Toscana
Intense, fruity, bouquet, with ripe blackberries, wild strawberries and spice. The palate has a warm brambly feel, full of soft ripe fruit and a peristant spice to the finish. Easy drinking and perfect with sausages with white beans, spaghetti with tomatoes and basil.
Monte Tondo Corvina
With a bright and lively nose showing fresh cherry, black berry and black pepper hints. This wine is medium-bodied with moderate acidity and supple, well-integrated tannins. On the palate there are lovely dark fruit characters, dark chocolate and spice.
Quinta Do Correio Tinto
One of our favourite reds all year round. A Jaen (Mencia)-led blend, which also features some Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro, aged without oak. With typical Dao freshness, this is a herb-fruited, honest reflection of this great appellation. It’s fun and immensely drinkable.
Cellar Des Capcanes Mas Donis Negre
Mas Donis Negre is a fruity and juicy young red wine. A perfume of cherry and red berries, spicy cake and a complex floral medium bodied palate packed full of pure fruit seduction and charm.
Chateau St Cyrgues Salamandre Rouge
The Château Saint Cyrgues estate is located in the South of France, near Nîmes. It faces the Petite Camargue, one of the most beautiful sites in France, and the Mediterranean Sea. The estate is over a hundred years old, but keeps up with the times as it is certified organic.
A natural red with plenty of red berry fruit, liquorice and black pepper. No added sulphur.
Egri Korona Harmonia
The Egri Korona Borház (Crown Wine House of Eger) is a family winery which can be found in the middle of the Eger wine region, right next to the thermal hot spring of Egerszalók and it’s unbelievable white cliffs. This area is renowned for its thermal baths and its resulting soil rich in minerals of volcanic origin.
Harmonia is a blend of the dominant blue grapes of the area, true to the tradition of the region making wines with many varietals. This wine is JUICY with good body. Fruit and sour-cherry aroma of Menoire & Blauburger perfectly entwined with the spiciness of Kekfrankos and fiery character of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Lyrarakis Liatiko ‘Queen’ Red
A lighter style of red from central Crete. Aromas of wild berries and red fruit liqueur, hints of herbal and spicy flavours too. Well-balanced and fresh on the palate, with fine tannins and an expressive juicy finish. Lyrarakis are a great winery and are leading the way in reviving the ancient varieties of Crete.
Domaine La Dourbie Oscar Rouge
An expressive nose with spicy and smoky notes underneath a bouquet of red berry fruit aromas. Smooth with silky tannins and a beautiful finish. This is a vibrant, more-ish wine. Pair with beef carpaccio and a variety of Mediterranean dishes.
Caizergues Les Bobines
A bright and rich wine, with notes of plum, black of olive and cracked black pepper, a perfect5 pairing for grilled red meats.
Corryton Burge Shiraz
Rich fruit forward characters of raspberry and plums tantalise the palate. There is a soft toasty oak influence that enhances the vanilla and spice. Subtle tannins leave the palate quite moreish and a delight to keep coming back to.
Domaine de Mailloches Bourgueil
The wine shows dominant blackcurrant and raspberry fruits with classic Cabernet Franc freshness and a supple and rich mouthfeel. Pair with cold meats, white meats such as chicken or turkey, or cheeses.
