ArmAs, Aragatsotn, Karmrahyut
£18.95
Armenia is considered to be a birthplace of wine (along with Georgia) containing winemaking ruins dating back 6100 years.
This is a great example of the Karmrahyut grape from the Aragatsotn region of Armenia with intense flavours of concentrated red fruits and dark chocolate and aromas of rose and spice. Powerful, full bodied and a long finish of honey and vanilla from two years oak ageing in French and Armenian oak.
Pair with roasted red meats such as lamb or delicately spiced Middle Eastern cuisine.
