The vineyard is located in the small rural municipality of Oquendo, in the province of Álava, about 30 minutes from Bilbao, on a 10-hectare estate divided into 7 micro-plots. Located 250 metres above sea level, it is protected by mountains and far from the bottom of the valley, thus sheltering it from fog and winter frost, which can be so damaging. 100% of their grapes come from native varieties, mainly Hondarrabi Zuri, some Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratie (Petit Corbu) and a small plot of Izkiriota known as Gros Manseng.

A lovely modern style Txacoli.  Intense varietal aromas, with overtones of white fruit, (pear and apple), citrus fruit (grapefruit), and stone fruit (peach). Fresh on the palate, lively, balanced, long, persistent aromatic finish, with slightly bitter and mineral varietal overtones from the soil.

A great match with seafood, shellfish or sushi.
