Chateau Megyer Hárslevelű
£15.95
Chateau Megyer is located in the Tokaji producing region in north-eastern Hungary. The region is most famous for sweet wines, but also produces some outstanding dry whites.
Hárslevelű pronouned Harsh-level-loo, means linden-leaf in Hungarian, the wine is very suited to bottle ageing. This is a 2014 vintage, but it could go on for several more years. This is one for fans of a decent unoaked Chardonnay who want to try something different. Honey, herbs and a slight smokiness. Great on its own or would suit white meats.
