In the pantheon of great Alsatian winegrowers, Domaine Schoffit continues to maintain a somewhat confidential profile.  Their vines are on the exceptional grand cru site of Rangen in Thann, whose steep south facing slope of volcanic soil really merits a mention in the same breath as any of the world’s greatest vineyard sites.

Ripe, bright fruit, bergamot, lemon and classic flintiness, a wonderfully concentrated riesling.
