Description

The Lapilli family, with a winemaking tradition dating back to the 1960s, plays a crucial role in crafting wines that are both varietally and regionally expressive. Their small estate is known for producing exquisite, affordable wines that capture the essence of Campania. Beneventano IGT is an appellation in Campania, where the red variety Aglianico thrives. The vineyards, situated at an elevation of 400 metres above sea level on the hills surrounding Avellino, benefit from the unique terroir.

After hand-harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and undergo a maceration process on the skins for 12-15 days.  The wine then undergoes both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats with selected yeasts. It is matured on the lees for one month, followed by an additional two months of ageing, before being filtered and bottled.
