The wine is aged on its skins in a qvevri – a large, egg-shaped, ceramic vessel. It is made from a native Georgian grape variety, Rkatsiteli, which is left on its skins for 6 months, developing into a wine with fine tannins balanced on a backbone of fresh and dried stone fruit and almonds.

Description
A small family-run winery in Georgia, the birthplace of orange wine. Using minimal intervention in the vineyards (no pesticides etc), in a return to pre-industrial farming.
