Queue de Pressoir Segalin, Malbec, Clos d’Audhuy

£15.95

This fabulously juicy cuvee highlights the unusual and almost forgotten Segalin variety, harvested early and vinified a bit like a rose, with 30% Malbec too, making it the most deliciously crunchy, fresh and fruity red.

Located in the western corner of Cahors in the village of Lacapelle-Cabanac, third generation winemaker Benoit Aymard took over the reins of his small and slightly dilapidated family domaine in 2014. He enjoys drinking Gamay and Loire reds, and it’s this freshness and drinkability that guides his decisions at harvest and in the cellar.
