A blend of  73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc rounding out the last 4%, the majority of which has been aged in new American oak. Full-bodied and showing immense power, with incredible concentration that will certainly benefit from extended cellaring, some critics suggesting up to 60 years, though it will still bring pleasure to the drinker even now. In its youth, it shows notes of fresh plum, crème de cassis, black truffle, graphite, chocolate, and chalky minerality, with its firm yet ripe tannins and freshness indicating its ageing ability.
