Bodega Riglos Gran Cabernet Franc
£23.95
Riglos is a town in La Pampa Province that friends Dario Werthein and Fabian Suffern have honored in naming their winery. It was a place where their ancestors had settled when they arrived in Argentina. In the Uco Valley, they found great parcels of grapes in a very barren landscape from which they made their first wines.
With an intense garnet colour, this wine reflects the spirit of the Finca Las Divas, 4,265 feet above sea level. There are subtle aromas of red fruits and spices which are typical of the local mountain range. Punchy dark fruits and acidity on the palate with hints of oak and dark chocolate. A good wien to drink with lamb, veal, hearty fish dishes.
