Thanks to their maritime climate and the winds sweeping off the sea through their vines, they have been able to maintain an environmentally friendly approach, and now produce organically certified Grillo and Nero d’Avola. Founded in 1995, CasalFarneto is a 35 acre estate whose key to success is to manage traditional winegrowing and winemaking techniques with modern facilities and an eco-sustainable approach towards nature and the surrounding area.

The winery has been entirely covered by a roof garden planted to vines allowing for a double experience: the pleasant visual continuity with the landscape and a constant underground temperature inside, where the barrels are stored.

This orange wine is slightly cloudy in colour thanks to the natural approach to winemaking; with no stabilisation, fining or filtration resulting in a wine with very low sulphur levels. The bouquet is a beautiful mix of citrus, grapefruit, apple and white fleshed fruits that follows onto the palate. Complemented by Mediterranean herbs and a backbone of fresh, racy acidity.
