Akashi-Tai Junmai Daiginjo Genshu Japanese Sake
Iconic “Grand Cru” sake, the Junmai Daiginjo Genshu shows the most intense flavours of the Yamadanishiki rice that have been drawn out to achieve a highly floral, delicate sake with a salty palate and a rich and aromatic minerality.
Shiraume Ginjo Umeshu
A firm favourite, Umeshu is a liqueur made from plums, or “ume” in Japanese. Its sweet, fruity flavours make it a popular choice among many, with a full and bursting taste of plums, macerated in Ginjo sake for 6 months and aged for 2 years.
Ume No Yado Yuzu Sake
Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit that tastes a bit like a lime and a mandarin. This sake is infused with Yuzu which gives it a distinctive style. It has a very lovely floral, fruity aroma, and on the palate it is deliciously crisp and moreish.
Tedorigawa Yamahai Junmai Sake
Junmai, in the broad sense, means “pure rice sake.” The rice has been ‘polished’ to enahnce the true flavours of the rice. These sake are generally more robust and earthy than other styles and will pair with rich dishes also such as, grilled sardines and meats. This is dry, sharp and full bodied balanced by a toffee-like sweetness.
