Drawing on fruit from historic vineyards across South Australia, this delicious wine captures the very essence of one season in a playful format that just demands to be drunk.
The colourful label of this wine is a nod to an endangered Langur monkey, one born in an Australian zoo, a welcome addition to a population of just 3,000. The wine itself is full of big plum flavours with a touch of oak ageing providing backbone and some vanilla notes.
Pale lemon in colour. Fresh fruits on the bouquet depict hints of nectarine, peach and orange blossom with rich vanilla oak and a touch of spice. The palate is generous, expressing flavours of stone fruit and a citrus nuance, balanced acidity and French Oak, holding true to it’s varietal characteristics.

The fruit for the Hedonist Sangiovese is sourced from the Willunga foothills of McLaren Vale. The idyllic St Vincent’s Gulf lies 5km to the West. The soil is rich loam over clay with patches of underlying limestone, giving the wine a rich and fullness of pallet.
