Seven Of Hearts Coupe’s Cuvee
The sixth vintage of this release, the 2015 wine is the first to be sourced from the Luminous Hills vineyard in Oregon. Aged in French oak for two years and then fortified with brandy from Pinot Noir grapes, this is ultimately a Pinot Noir. A sort-of Port, with tawny characteristics and richness, it pairs well with cheese, chocolate and also fruit or cream based pastries – creme brulee or even an eclair!

The selection for this blend is just three select barrels, one new French oak barrel (made from the Tronçais forest, matched to the characteristics of the vineyard) and two neutral French oak barrels, giving weight and balance to the blend. 75 cases produced. Some of the highest quality Chardonnay in Oregon.
Trefethen Estate Eshcol
Eshcol was the original name of the Trefethen Estate in Napa Valley, first planted in the 1800’s. The wines made there helped establish Napa’s early reputation for quality wines. A Bordeaux-style blend with bold fruit aromas, leading to bright blackberry and cherry on the palate. A balanced wine, great for any occasion from a barbeque to pizza night.

Ridge Lytton Springs
A single vineyard blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane & Mataro (Mourvedre). Pepper and raspberry aromas leading into dark plum and blackberry flavours with a hint of cocoa. Dry with chalky tannins and a lingering finish. This is excellent now but will gain complexity over the next 10-15 years too.
