Description
The grapes for this wine come from 2 parcels Sazenay and Clos l’Eveque in the heart of Mercurey. The soil is clay and limestone and the grapes are hand harvested. Grapes spend 10-15 days fermenting in the tank before being put into French oak barrels. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.
