Masusta Garnacha
£18.95
The Basque word ‘Masusta’ means ‘blackberry’ – and this wine takes its name from the huge bramble that is in the middle of the vines. A beautiful red-fruit bouquet of cherries and raspberries, it is fresh elegant on the palate, with nice earthy lick of oak, pepper and spice. Full of flavour, but not too heavy.

Description
A self-confessed nomad, Luis roams the lands of Navarra and Rioja looking for exceptional plots of old or abandoned vines to turn his hand to. His wines are unflinching in character and in his own words ‘It’s about fermenting the grape and putting it in the bottle. Making pure, honest wines.’ A total artisan, there’s a real no nonsense approach that makes these wines so exciting.
