An organic red made in the Salento wine-growing region. Medium to full bodied, silky smooth with flavours of cherries and berries. The grapes are dried for three weeks, losing about 30% of their weight, and concentrating the natural flavours.
The Primitivo grapes are selected from low-yielding, fully organic vineyards in the Salento area of Southern Puglia. The plants are an average of 20 to 35 years old,

In the southeastern extremity of Puglia lies the peninsula known as Salento, often considered to be a rock of limestone dividing the Adriatic Sea from the Ionian Sea, and the “heel” of Italy’s “boot.”
