​Cà ed Balos is a small family-owned winery with 6.5 hectares of vineyards in Castiglione Tinella in the Langhe, restored by Renata Bonacina and her husband in the 1990s, reviving Moscato d’Asti production there since 2008. The vines are farmed sustainably and are currently under organic conversion, long using ‘green manure’ to reduce further any need for chemicals. 

This is a beautiful sweet moscato with flavours of peach, orange and honey.  Perfect with fruit desserts or soft cheeses.

The Nittardi winery was once owned by Michaelangelo, and whilst painting the Sistine Chapel, he gifted his wines to the pope.  As homage to Michelangelo, the unique combination of art and wine is still cultivated today at Nittardi.
