Walter S. Siegel established himself as a vineyard owner in 1897. It wasn’t until 1937 that the Siegel wines were known in the UK, when his son Hans formed an unusual alliance with English cricketer Ian Peebles. Hans honoured his father by naming this wine after him. And, so, the Walt Riesling was born.
At last a really good alcohol free wine! This is Riesling with all its variety-specific fruitiness, like peaches, mineral notes and a fresh, lively character. Try it with fish, seafood or white meat or even with red meats and game! Of course, it’s also very drinkable by itself!

Ai Galera Mistico
A growing interest of the wines of Portugal has bought attention to the previously underated region of Tejo, lying just south of Lisbon. Grapes are rumoured to have been grown on the backs of the Tejo river since Roman times.
This is made from a blend of Fernão Pires (otherwise known as Maria Gomes in Barraida) which offers a lovely perfumed aromas of citrus fruits and Verdelho that adds a backbone and some peach and melon flavours. A fresh, dry white ideally consumed young, either by itself or with light seafood dishes.

The vineyards for Fidèle Soleilla are perched high in the dramatic hills and terraces above the Vallée d’Agly with a unique character of its own. The famed black schist is interspersed with pockets of limestone from the higher slopes, combining the richness and power that is typical of Maury with a fresher, more finely defined character.
Honeysuckle and apricot aromas and a rich, almost unctuous palate that is somehow still dry, tangy and refreshing.

The Vermentino is clean & light with a great citrus and apple nose. The palate ranges from mandarin, peach and pear through to crisp grapefruit acifity on the finish.

Bodegas Esteban Martin is a family-owned business founded in 2003 by Miguel Antonio Esteban and Asunción Martin. From the very start, the winery has always believed in caring for the environment and has pioneered the use of different sustainable practices for growing grapes. The winery is located at the foot of the Sierra de Algairén mountains – part of the Iberian System Mountain range – in the province of Zaragoza and owns some 400 hectares of vineyards. In 1985, Miguel Antonio Esteban decided to purchase 150 hectares of vineyards on the best land in the Cariñena PDO region. He acquired new plots of land year after year, before deciding to build his own winery in 2003.

Aromatic and floral Fiano from Puglia. Peach, lychee, and a fromage frais like characteristic. Crisp, fresh, and mineral, with stone fruit following through on the palate.

A pale lemon wine delivering tropical and stone fruit aromas underpinned by a streak of zesty citrus. Beautifully balanced on the palate with crisp and refreshing fruit flavours through to a clean, vibrant finish.
Trulli Vermentino Salento IGP
Aromas of peach, lemon peel, mango and dry herbs. On the palate the saline minerality comes through and blends with a complex and pleasantly fresh acidity. Perfect as an aperitif on its own or excellent to accompany pasta dishes with shellfish or grilled white meats.
A Growers Touch Chardonnay
Based in New South Wales, the Mino & Co. Winery has been operating since 1997 and source the best fruit from across the region to produce outstanding wine on a boutique scale.
This Chardonnay is pale lemon in colour; fresh fruits on the nose with hints of nectarine, peach and orange blossom with rich vanilla oak and a touch of spice. The palate is generous, expressing flavours of stone fruit and a citrus nuance, balanced acidity and subtle oak.
Great with white meats or buttery pastry dishes.

Walt Riesling

With roots as a wine made by the nuns of the area, this medium-bodied Riesling now has lovely flavours of peach and stone, with a hint of apricot. Perfect with spicy, Thai dishes.
Ciconia Branco
Casas Relvas is a family run winery in the Alentejo region of Portugal, started in 1997 by Alexandre Relvas who saw in Herdade de São Miguel the vast horizons of his roots in Africa. The family’s passion for the region has extended to the rebuilding of cork oak forests.
Expressive ripe fruits, very versatile and can stand up to strong dishes such as smoked haddock.
Cantine Paolini Grillo BIO
Founded in 1964 by Gaspare Baiata and several likeminded, forward-looking growers. Thanks to their maritime climate and the winds sweeping off the sea through their vines, they have been able to maintain an environmentally friendly approach, and now produce organically certified Grillo and Nero d’Avola. The soil is fertilised with infusions of organically produced herbs and legumes. No sulphur is used or added at any stage in the making of these two wines.
Reflektief Palomino
Light and delicate with notes of lemon, almond and a pronounced minerality. A lip-smacking acidity and crisp finish make it a nice alternative to Verdejo.
Florensac Pique & Mix Picpoul
Very fresh and fruity with citrus lemon and grapefruit, some exotic flavours and good length, but dry on the finish. A wine for seafood, shellfish especially.
Passage du Sud Vermentino
Passage du Sud, meaning “On it’s way South”… is a tribute to the migrating birds which are leaving behind the cold season to reach warmer Mediterranean places. This fruity and well balanced white is typical of the South of France styles. Pale lemon yellow. Blending floral notes on the nose, with fresh pear, lime and green apple. A fresh, crisp medium-bodied white, creamy in texture. Ample acidity in the lingering finish.
Aguazul Verdejo
A beautifully balanced and easy drinking Verdejo, with ripe lemon and delicate tropical fruit on both the nose and the palate. Harmonious, refreshing with a herbal twist of fennel on the finish. Verdejo’s vibrant, refreshing style makes it a great aperitif, but also perfect with fish tacos.
Dr Loosen Mosel Riesling
Dr. Loosen Mosel Riesling is sourced from multiple vineyards with slate being the main soil type. This is a really fresh Riesling with flavours of apples, pears and peach. The winery where this Riesling is bottled is certified sustainable by Ecostep, and it is bottled in a lightweight bottle using vegan friendly winemaking techniques.

CasalFarneto Verdicchio Classico
Founded in 1995, CasalFarneto is a 35 acre estate whose key to success is to manage traditional winegrowing and winemaking techniques with modern facilities and an eco-sustainable approach towards nature and the surrounding area.
The winery has been entirely covered by a roof garden planted to vines allowing for a double experience: the pleasant visual continuity with the landscape and a constant underground temperature inside, where the barrels are stored.
This is such a great wine, with delicate fruity aromas, floral hints of apple and citrussy notes, and the typical almond aftertaste.
Recoleta Pedro Blanco
Pedro Ximenez from Argentina. A delightful flurry of inviting aromatics – lots of juicy-ripe citrus fruit, but also lifted herbaceous notes and dried flowers. This lovely little wine is stylistically more like an Albariño than a run-of-the-mill Pinot Grigio, with lots to get stuck into, great balance and structure and an excellent finish.
Villa Des Croix Viognier
A delicious well-made wine from Caude Serra of Les Vignes d’Oc, with just the right balance of fresh citrus zest, apricot and honeyed notes, with refreshing acidity to keep the richness in check. A lot of wine for the money here!
Solara Orange Wine
Refreshing like a white wine, with the complexity of red wine. This orange wine is made by leaving the grape skins and seeds in contact with the pressed juice, creating a deep orange-hued finish. This is a complex and structured wine, with elegant but discreet fruit flavours of stone fruits, backed up with a powerful tannin structure and long finish. A natural minimal intervention wine which is well balanced and structured yet pure and incredibly fresh.
