Masusta Garnacha
The Basque word ‘Masusta’ means ‘blackberry’ – and this wine takes its name from the huge bramble that is in the middle of the vines. A beautiful red-fruit bouquet of cherries and raspberries, it is fresh elegant on the palate, with nice earthy lick of oak, pepper and spice. Full of flavour, but not too heavy.

El Berrakin Garnacha
A slightly different take on Garnacha, naturally produced in stainless steel rather than wood. The wine is a little more focused on pure, berry fruit. A natural fermentation combined with natural fresh acidity, leave a very drinkable wine. A little bit of floral and herbal notes, and soft tannins. One to be enjoyed through the summer, perhaps chilled a little. A very drinkable red.
Arndorfer Schlehe Amber Wine
A beautiful , juicy, orange wine from Austria. Ripe plums, apricots and peaches with a little spice on the finish. All naturally, organically and biodynamically farmed in Kamptal. No sulphur, unfined and unfiltered. A great introduction to orange wine.
Stanton & Killeen Tempranillo
In Rioja (Spain) this style would be classed as a ‘Joven’ style, meaning young and un-wooded, but being in the new world and Rutherglen in particular, this wine is lifted to an extra level. A fabulous new world interpretation of a long standing old world variety.
Dense red/purple. Complex with rose petal and dark cherry juice and cranberry aromas with some light cedary wood spices. A balanced palate profile with soft flavours of cherries, dark plums and a backbone of light tannins that extend through to a long and refreshing finish.
Dr Loosen Bernkasteler Lay Riesling Kabinett
A delicately crisp, low-alcohol Riesling from the top-rated single-vineyard site that surrounds the Dr. Loosen estate.
Bernkasteler Lay is a Grosse Lage (grand cru) vineyard situated directly along the Mosel between the village of Bernkastel and the Dr. Loosen estate house. The rocky blue slate soil here produces richly textured, assertive wines. Kabinett is the German designation for the lightest, most delicate style of Riesling, produced from barely ripe grapes picked early in the harvest.

A really fresh and approachable red from Austria. Black cherries and dark plums on the nose, crunchy fruit in the mouth showing stonefruit character and a touch of sourness on the finish.

Craig Hawkins is a young winemaker based in the Swartland, South Africa, where he rents about 11ha of vineyard, farmed organically and biodynamically. Having travelled extensively throughout Europe, and then worked as wine maker for Lammershoek, he now makes makes a huge variety of different wines under his own Testalonga label.

Holden Manz Proprietors Blend White
Winemaker Thierry Haberer has been making wines around the world for over a decade. He has spent time working in Bordeaux and Napa Valley in the USA before settling at the Holden Manz Wine Estate in Franschhoek Valley, one of South Africa’s premiere winemaking regions. The estate boasts 22 hectares of exclusively red grape varieties; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah.
The grapes for this white blend (40% Viognier, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Chenin Blanc) were hand selected from a variety of locations in Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Wellington and Paarl. They combine magnificently to produce a beautifully rounded, full bodied and well balanced wine. A bright, flinty nose with lime, green apples, tangerine and honeysuckle. The wine has had 12 month’s lees contact, adding creaminess and complexity. Absolutely sublime.
We love this wine with seared tuna steaks, tempura prawns with sweet chilli dipping sauce and mushroom wellington.
Bodegas Gratias Comboi, Vino Ancestral
“Comboi”, is a local Valencian expression used when a group of people come together to have a good time, full of enthusiasm and joy, a bit like the wine! This is a Pet Nat lightly sparkling wine created “metodo ancestral” from 100% Tardana grapes. Beautiful and refreshing, with delicate bubbles and fresh fruity aromas. As natural as wine can get, with minute sulphur additions, if any.
The Comboi wines are cultivated, produced and sold with the utmost respect, honesty, happiness and hope of all those who work with them. The Comboi project is all about the respect for the local environment. This old Tardana vineyard supports 70 year old vines tended using organic and sustainable viticulture methods.
Serve cold in an ice bucket! Really fresh in the mouth, this is perfect as an aperitif but work well with seafood, paella and creamy pasta dishes.

A Los Vinateros Bravos Pais
Leonardo Erazo is a rare talent. In the ancient vineyards in the Itata Valley, Leonardo uses the knowledge of local farmers that have been naturally farming the region for centuries, biodynamic principles and minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar.
Ancient vines grown on volcanic soils, which impart a very distinctive mineral character and aromas of cinder and ash. Soft red and dark fruits with an earthy, herbal touch. Egri Korona Bornemissza Kekfrankos
The Egri Korona Borház (Crown Wine House of Eger) is a family winery which can be found in the middle of the Eger wine region, right next to the thermal hot spring of Egerszalók and it’s unbelievable white cliffs. This area is renowned for its thermal baths and its resulting soil rich in minerals of volcanic origin
This wine is from the vineyard’s Grand Selection made by the owners daughter, part of the historic collection commemorating the 1552 Seige of Eger. Bornemissza was a General known for his expertise in gunpowder.
Etyeki Kuria Red
From the Sopron wine region. Harvested by hand and carefully destemmed. Fermented for 14 days on the skin. Aged in Hungarian oak barrels for 8 months.
Ripe fruits on the nose and palate. Blackberry, cherry and cooked red plums. Subtle smokey character with a hint of cloves. Soft, delicious, lively acidity
Domaine Lapierre Raisins Gaulois
A fun and fruity 100% Gamay from a 9 hectare plot of 60 year old vines, no added sulphur, and left to rest for two months in bottle prior to release. A bright crimson and purple colour. Packed full of cherry, cassis and raspberry fruit, with a delicate earthy touch to finish. Juicy and light as a feather on the palate, this is a beautiful wine that could also be served chilled on a sunny day.

The Eschenhof Holzer winery is located in Großriedenthal, in the Wagram wine region. On the ~19 hectare estate, the innovative wine maker, Arnold Holzer, draws on the unique bounty of nature, with a great deal of creativity, a distinctive style and a sense for delicious creations.

Coste della Sesia Nebbiolo Orbello
Orbello is a small village very close to the vineyard where this wine is produced, it is a traditional blend that Tenute Sella has been producing for more than 50 years. An attractive nose of mixed red fruits that leap from the glass, the palate is soft and mouth-filling, with the red fruits following through on a supporting spine of minerality.
A wine if great finesse, with a gentle and seemless quality. Pair with a wild mushroom risotto for a nigh on perfect pairing.
Domaine Foivos, ‘Barcarola’, Kefalonia
The Foivos winery evolved from the historic Mantzavino winery, one of the oldest in Greece. The winery was bought in 1996, and in 1999 Theodorous Orkopoulos produced his first vintages. The winery specialises in rare Greek varieties as well as the better known Robola. The grapes are farmed organically and biodynamically, and Foivos also
explores alternative winemaking practices such as fermentation in Amphora and ageing under water.
This winery is making some excellent terroir-driven wines that rank among some of Greece’s finest. Many people believe Kefalonia to be the next Santorini: watch this space!

A wonderful, fresh, fruit-focussed expression of Touriga Nacional from the highlands of the Dao. Made without oak influence to maintain purity, it’s juicy and fruity, with lovely, soft tannin to add a little grip and interest.
Daniel Ramos KaPi Amphorae
High up in the Gredos Mountains, Daniel is utilising Garnacha and Albillo Real and combining them with the old ways of viticulture. This Aussie born winemaker, known to his mates as Kapi (El Capitan), makes wines with minimal intervention, great depths of flavour from both Garnacha and the ancient variety, Albillo Real.

Full of powerful, fresh red berried fruits with hints of green pepper and leafy tones. Juicy yet savoury with lovely soft oak influence and velvety tannins. A really outstanding rich red wine.
If you like Cabernet Franc, give this a go…. it’s often referred to as Cabernet Franc on steroids!

A classically made orange wine with aromas of raw honey, walnuts and apricots which follow through onto the palate. A full bodied wine that’s quite versatile on the table but will stand up well with roasted chicken or even, duck and quail.
Raza Pet Nat Rose
Quinta Da Raza is perfectly located in the interior of the Minho region, benefitting from great sun exposure but gets some moderating influence from the Tamega River. Preserving traditional wine making techniques as well as promoting biodiversity and natural balance.
This is a refreshing rose fizz packed full of red berry fruits including strawberries and raspberries with a hint of hedgerow berries. The natural sediment makes the wine cloudy but that’s where all the flavour is!
Cantina Terlano Gewurztraminer
Cantina Terlano is well known in Italian wine drinking circles for producing Italy’s longest lived white wines. Many memorable wines from the 1950s and 1960s, which rank amongst the greatest white wines of the world, were made here.
This Gewürztraminer has lychee, mango and honeysuckle on the nose. Fresh fruit and lively acidity combine with mineral notes to leave a very round finish.
Les Chemins de L’Arkose, Le Clos Parcellaire Gamay
Le Clos Rouge Cuvée Parcellaire hails from a plot of old Gamay with some Pinot Noir planted on calcareous soil with basaltic debris. This red has a touch more body than their other wines, but is still marked by mountain freshness, and its purity is down to excellent work in the vines and sympathetic low-intervention winemaking. A delightful natural wine, aged in amphora. Flavours of juicy red berries and pepper.
