Blank Bottle Luuks
The second release of Pieter’s first ever Chardonnay. The name comes from the barrel it was aged in: the first ever new barrel that Pieter bought. Luuks roughly translates from Afrikaans to ‘lux’ or ‘luxury’ in English and it became a bit of a nickname for this wine aged in their fancy new barrel.
There’s an opulence here – clotted cream, white flowers and buttered toast too. Honey cakes and a lush creaminess with hint of ginger. So well-balanced, and with a long future ahead of it.
Weingut Corvers-Kauter Riesling Auslese
The Corvers and Kauter families between them have five hundred years of winegrowing history in the Rheingau, one of the world’s most iconic wine regions. Now led by Dr Matthias and Brigitte Corvers, whose family comes from Rudesheim, their 12 hectares of gravity-defying organic vineyards are planted around the villages of Oestrich and Winkel in the traditional manner on the steep banks of the Rhine.
An incredible, rich, complex Riesling with a fascinating fullness of aromas. Fruit acid and minerality combine to create a fireworks display for the palate.
Nathalie & Gilles Fevre Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume
Husband and wife team Gilles and Nathalie Fevre represent the fourth generation of the Fevre family growing grapes and making wine in and around the village of Fontenay-pres-Chablis.
Today they own some 50 hectares of vines, from which all their grapes are sourced, throughout the appellation.
All their vines are planted on the famous kimmeridgian limestone soils – essential in providing the unique character of classic, fine, steely, pure, minerally Chablis, so appreciated throughout the world.

A characterful wine, brimming with blackberry, strawberry, plum and hawthorn berries, alongside a subtle black tea note in the background. Very fresh and balanced, with a long and supple finish.
Cantine Povero Dolcetto 3 Litre Box
This is really very good indeed, an instant hit! Incredibly well balanced. Full bodied but so, so easy to drink. Its kind of a bit Pinot Noiry but fuller, more voluptuous. Quaffable. This box is equivalent to 4 bottles and will stay fresh for a month after opening.

Outstanding Grand Cru Champagne. Aromas of red berries, baked apples and rose petals. Juicy and mouth-filling with an elegant, mineral-laced finish. Stunning!
Chateau Saransot-Dupre Listrac-Medoc Magnum
One of Listracs most prominent estates with 17 hectares of vines. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Yves Raymond looks to Merlot and Cabernet Franc, rather than Cabernet Sauvignon as the essence of his wines in order to help them achieve optimum ripeness. This is a rich and slightly spicy Bordeaux with concentrated tannins. Very good indeed, drink now or keep for 10-15 years

Chateau L’Enclos Pomerol
Since 2007, Denise and Stephen Adams have owned Château L’Enclos, located on the western, sun-drenched hillside of the well-known plateau of the Pomerol appellation. The vineyard of 10 hectares, comprised of 38 plots, has gravel soils upon a clayey sub-soil, containing traces of iron, commonly called blue clay. Work in the vineyard is carried out manually and a system of plot selection is implemented. The wines of Château L’Enclos express all the distinctive qualities of the terroir. They are renowned not only for their delicacy and silky tannins, but also for their sensation of freshness on the palate. Like all the properties owned by the Adams family, winemaking is done in accordance with the guidance of Michel Rolland, who seeks to produce a top-level wine here.
Bargylus Vin Rouge

From Syria’s only private wine estate, this is a blend of 60% Syrah and 20% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Packed with fruit and spice, it’s a dinner party wine to impress, and what a talking point! Black pepper sprinkled summer fruits – bowls of plums and intense blackcurrant coulis, a dusting of cocoa and cinnamon. Rich yet with great lift and precision to the finish, and fine tannins.
Chianti Classico, Cigliano di Sopra
Located in the highest part of the Cigliano area, Cigliano di Sopra is a historic estate dating back to 1300. The estate is family-run with the utmost respect for nature and for their historic buildings. All the wines are produced with grapes from their own vineyards and are hand-harvested.
Violets, lavender and fresh red fruit. Wonderfully crunchy and pure, but by no means simple. You can really feel the ageing potential thanks to this depth flavour of sour cherry. The tannins and acidity are firm, and It respects the idea of Chianti Classico, but really, we’re almost in Riserva territory here given the attention to detail here, but they only produce one label. As winemaker Matteo shared “the idea we had when we started making Chianti Classico is simple. We want a wine that’s ready to drink. It should be on the table after a year and a half, but at the same time, this 2021 will definitely show its best in 5 or 6 years.”
Tesselaarsdal Chardonnay
From unirrigated vineyards on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, and this is just her third release! Crisp acidity and lean minerality underpin notes of melon and tangerine fruit and accents of lime blossom. A triumphant expression of terroir, this medium-bodied, cool climate wine is both silky and fresh and boasts a long, elegant finish.
Champagne Gallimard Rose NV
Didier Gallimard owns 10 hectares of prime vineyards on the steep slopes around Les Riceys in the southern Aube. His vines’ average age is over 30 years and the dramatically sloping vineyards, which are of chalk and Kimmeridgian limestone, are planted mainly to Pinot Noir and just a little Chardonnay. Their wines are full and rich and offer enticing aromas and flavours of summer fruits. This delicious Rosé is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay and cascades with fresh, bright raspberry and strawberry flavours.
Champagne Delavenne Grand Cru Brut Reserve
Stunning Grand Cru Champagne made with minimal intervention. Low sulphur, no fining, no herbicides or chemical fertilisers and all hand harvested grapes. This is a blend of only two vintages from family vineyards in Bouzy. Delavenne’s elegant cuvée are served at many Michelin starred restaurants in Europe, they make outstanding Champagnes that we are delighted to sell!
Zerberos El Altar
The El Altar is one of Daniel’s single vineyard cuvees. The vines at this site near El Barraco are between 65 and 90 years old, and are planted on granitic soils with a Northern exposure. This, along with the altitude, helps to retain freshness in the wine.
Made in a very minimalistic way, the grapes are double selected, before de-stemming and fermenting naturally. The wine is aged in 600L French barrels for 1 year, and is bottled without fining or filtration.
This is a light and immensely elegant wine, exhibiting garnacha fruit beautifully entwined with herbs and spices.
Quinta do Vale Meao 10 Year old Tawny Port
Quinta do Vale Meão have been making fantastic port for many years. They don’t bottle everything they make straight away, and leave a proportion to age in their cellars. After many years of this investment, they now have sufficient reserves to draw from and create this wonderful 10 year old tawny port.
What sets this tawny apart is that it has been aged at the quinta, in the Douro Superior. This means it shows a very different developmental character to other tawny ports, most of which are aged in Vila Nova de Gaia, far cooler by the coast!
Luis Canas Gran Reserva Rioja Reserva
Ruby red with earthy colour notes. Elegant and complex in the nose with a good concentration of black fruit, thyme and rosemary with secondary aromas of leather and tobacco leaves. It is polished and rounded, making it pleasant and easy to drink, yet with elegance and power. It has a long and persistant finish, with touches of black fruit jam and liquorice.
Turley Zinfandel Old Vines
From across twenty vineyard sites managed by the winery, many of which are too small to produce a single plot wine, with vines ranging from 50-130 years of age the winery has a large swatch of grapes to play with. This vintage shows a nose of wild herbs and white pepper, followed closely by delicate bramble fruits, a wonderful brightness and purity, balanced tannic grip and great freshness.
Zensa Organic Primitivo 3 Litre Box
The hugely popular Zensa Primitivo, now even better value, and with less packaging. This wine is just so easy to drink! Flavours of cherries, chocolate and rich fruit on the finish. Full-bodied but silky soft and delicious.
Domaine Badoz Côtes du Jura Vin Jaune
Ranked among the greatest wines of France, Vin Jaune is made exclusively from the Savagnin grape variety. Planted on blue Jurassic clays, it matures in oak barrels for 6 years and 3 months, without compensating for the evaporation share of around a third of the volume. A veil of yeast forms on the surface of the wine, and protects it from any oxidation. It is during this long ageing that it acquires its spicy aromas of nuts, almonds or curry. Drink as an aperitif, or with chicken, fish, strong cheeses or bitter chocolates.

Powerful aromas of ripe, concentrated fruits complemented by herbal and medicinal notes. The palate is beautiful; silky, rounded and textured with red and black fruits. Ripe tannins with balanced acidity and lingering notes of dried cherry.

Champagne Delavenne Bouzy Rouge 2018
Limited to just 3,000 bottles, this is a red, still, Grand Cru Champagne from Bouzy. 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in a selected plot, complex aromas, gentle earthiness and light tannins complement the red berry and cherry flavours with hints of leather and spice.
Domaine Remoriquet Nuits Saint Georges Les Allots
Domaine Remoriquet is a 10 hectare estate in the Côte de Nuits of Burgundy. Gilles, a 4th generation winemaker took over from his father, Henri and continues to make changes in both the cellar and the vineyards. There is a greater focus on sustainability and soil and vine health, than in years past.
Bright fruits of cherry, strawberry and blackcurrants with leather and truffle notes as it ages. Good balance with acidity and structure. This is a great wine for any Burgundy lover!
Tesselaarsdal Pinot Noir
Another showstopper from Tesselaarsdal, this wine reveals shining notes of red cherries, cranberries and raspberries combined with hints of nutmeg and clove spices. The palate is divine – pillow soft, but with excellent focus, very long in the mouth and with lovely maritime freshness.
Flametree S.R.S Chardonnay
The 2021 SRS Chardonnay was made with fruit sourced from a single site within the Wallcliffe area, long regarded as home to the finest Chardonnay wines of Margaret River.
Wild fermentation and maturation in large format oak for 10 months has resulted in a complex and refined Chardonnay. The wine displays underlying fruit power supported by savoury, mineral nuances and subtle French oak. This modern style ultimately complements many Australian food flavours, particularly seafood.

Restless River Ava Maria Chardonnay
Restless River is a rising star which has quietly achieved cult-status for its brilliant, Burgundian-style Chardonnay and ultra-elegant Cabernet Sauvignon.
Their farm is located in the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Its home to some of the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay vines in the region (planted in 1998). At Restless River, things are done in an unhurried way, with great dedication and attention to detail. Almost all their production is done by hand, resulting in limited quantities of each wine, and demand far exceeding supply. Restless River is defined by its terroir, and Craig Wessels’ thoughtful and careful winemaking allows it to be the star of the show.
Quinta do Piloto Moscatel de Setubal Superior 10 Year Old
An intensely flavoured aged sweet wine. Exuding aromas of orange blossom, citrus, bitter orange marmalade, raisins, figs and nuts, leading to a full bodied palate with a perfectly judged balance of sweetness and acidity. An incredible dessert wine.

Barbeito 10 Year Old Sercial Madeira
Winner of the IWC Madeira Trophy in 2003, this iconic Sercial is a touch of bone dry, to balance the natural rapier-like thrust of structure and flavour.
Aromas of dried fruits pine and resin. Mineral and fresh palate, long finish. Excellent as an aperitif, with Oysters, French Onion Soup, Parmesan cheese, sautéed mushrooms.
Marco Abella Clos Abella Priorat
The Marco Abella family have been producing wines in the Priorat region since the 15th century. Marco Abella owns seven plots located on seven different mountains in the village of Porrera, Priorat. These are the highest plots of the Priorat region. The vineyards are managed with great care and respect for the environment, using the latest practices in organic farming.
Ridge Geyserville
This is the longest continuous zinfandel production, starting in 1966. Each year, a slightly different wine of consistent character and quality. Black cherry & plum, oak spice and some minerality.
Domaine Maréchal, Pommard
Claude Marechal makes his wines as naturally as possible, taking his inspiration from his late friend Henri Jayer who he trained with early in his career. He makes wines above and beyond the expectations of his terroirs. His wines are pure and sleek with vibrant fruit and great potential to age. These wines are available in very limited quantities but are something you should definitely have in your cellar.
Domaine Réyane & Pascal Bouley Volnay
In the heart of Volnay this is an estate that was handed over to the son 8 years ago. Pierrick has since won the title of ‘Young Vigneron of the Year’ from Bourgogne Aujourdhui magazine. He uses minimal sulphur, none during fermentation and lets the wines evolve naturally. The results are wines with very pure fruit, not masked by oak, silky tannins and really good length. They are fantastic Volnay and taste just as Volnay should.
Ridge Lytton Springs
A single vineyard blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane & Mataro (Mourvedre). Pepper and raspberry aromas leading into dark plum and blackberry flavours with a hint of cocoa. Dry with chalky tannins and a lingering finish. This is excellent now but will gain complexity over the next 10-15 years too.
Caparzo Brunello Di Montalcino
Superb quality Brunello, kept for three weeks on the skins, then three years in barrel and a further year in bottle. Flavours of wild berries, orange peel. Dry and austere on the palate, very long finish. Classic Brunello, great with venison or aged cheeses.
Chateau Perron Lalande de Pomerol Magnum
Having been in the Massonie family for three generations, Perron is now the responsibility of Bertrand Massonie, whose drive, passion, technical skill and respect for the property’s exceptional terroir have contributed massively to its recent renaissance. One of the top wines in the appellation and a rising star of the Right Bank.
Rich, powerful and many-layered nose of red fruits, dark spice, fresh oak and cocoa. Supple, velvety palate with fine, crisply elegant tannins. Fresh lingering finish with menthol flavours. A charming, easy-to-drink wine which will go down well with any fine food.
Barbeito Boal Single Cask
The wine has been aged using the canteiro method and produced from the single barrel. It has a lovely, fresh floral aroma, with notes of pine, apricot, ripe citrus, white raisins, caramel, and candied fruit. The sweetness is balanced by a spicy, fresh acidity, with a lingering finish.
The grapes for this wine come from a very special, single-vineyard called Vinha da Torre, located in Campanario, the parish thought to have produced Boal grapes for the longest.

Intense nose of mixed berries and vanilla with hints of chocolate. A robust, well-balanced wine, powerful tannins that amplify its elegance of black fruit, ripe plum and cassis flavours. Can drink now with grilled meats, aged cheeses or dark chocolate and a cigar or will age for a long time.
